NEW TO POWER YOGA
This dynamic, fitness-minded form of yoga, simply put, is a series of flowing postures, synchronized to breath–designed to tone the body, build strength, increase flexibility, improve balance, and create an awareness of the connection of mind and body.
WHERE TO BEGIN
The best way to start practicing power yoga is by completing our Beginner Series which meets twice weekly for four weeks. Classes include discussion, demonstration, and practice. An experienced instructor will help guide you into safe alignment and healthy modifications. At the end of the eight class series, many students are ready to move on to our all level classes while others may wish to repeat the Beginner Series again to solidify their understanding.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
This series gives you a solid foundation of basic yoga postures and experience with power yoga. The Beginner series is fun, welcoming, and a great opportunity to invite yoga into your daily life. We hope you will join the fun in the flow!
WHAT TO EXPECT
Our intro classes are one hour long and taught in a warm studio so that muscles can be safely stretched and moved. Please wear light, comfortable clothing in which you can move easily. Bring a water bottle and a yoga mat if you have one. (We have mats available for you to borrow or purchase.)
